November 1st will not be the start of the 2011 NBA season. Looks like the NBA is following in the footsteps of the NFL as news about the lockout has broken. Reports hit at 10:01ET that NBA Commissioner, David Stern, cancelled the first two weeks of the season after hours of meetings between the owners and players failed to reach a new labor deal for the upcoming season. November 14th is how long this initial cancellation will affect the players, owners, workers and of course the fans.
